Social Media Day PHL

#SMDAYPHL 2026

Celebrating our 12-year anniversary, the 2026 Social Media Day PHL Conference will be a can’t miss event filled with our most innovative and engaging program to date!

This event will be exclusively for members held on May 20, 2026 at the incredible Ralph J. Roberts Forum in the Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Register now!

Registration Deadline is Monday, May 18th at 12pm EST.

What’s the same from years past?

Only Social Media Collective PHL Members can attend the conference. Your membership is your "conference fee," but also your ticket to a full year of networking, learning resources, celebrations, and professional development opportunities. Membership is $365, just a dollar a day!

As a nonprofit, we put every one of those dollars into creating fun and impactful experiences for marketing professionals in the Philadelphia area.

What’s different?

A month ago, we introduced a new membership platform for our community as part of our website relaunch. Everyone needs to create or renew their membership at socialmediacollectivephl.org!

Once you have a membership, you can register for Social Media Day on May 20 for free! You must register for the conference in order to be on the list at Comcast on May 20. Event registration is not automatic!

This year, you’re invited to join us at 8AM for coffee and informal conversation with speakers and sponsors. This is your chance to connect with our brilliant speakers before they take the stage! The official programming begins at 9AM.

If your organization is interested in a corporate partnership or multiple memberships, they can reach out to discuss details.

Frequently Asked Questions

In 2020, Social Media Day PHL became an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by members. It is vital to the Board of Directors that the organization is really focused on our social media, digital marketing, and communications community year-round, not just for the one-day conference.

By making the conference for members only, we hope to facilitate true community building and engagement year. In addition, the conference price includes a membership as an added benefit. We hope this makes it easy for you to join us at this year’s conference while also benefiting the community for the rest of the year.

The conference will take place on Wednesday, May 20th at the Ralph J. Roberts Forum in the Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia, PA. Thanks to our presenting sponsor, Comcast, we will be able to provide a live stream of the conference main stage for all our members who cannot make it in person.

Members get several benefits throughout the year:

  • Participation in the Co-Mentoring Connect
  • Ability to nominate yourself or others for the Social Media Day PHL Awards
  • Discounts and access to free events throughout the year
  • Reciprocal discounts to events hosted by partnering organizations

Dear [Boss],

I’d like your approval to become a member of Social Media Day PHL and attend the annual conference on May 20th, 2026 at the Ralph J. Roberts Forum in the Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia.

The conference is the most prominent gathering of communications professionals in the Philadelphia area, and this year’s event is members-only.

I sincerely appreciate opportunities to grow as a professional in our company, and I’m very excited about this conference because:

  • There will be an impressive line-up of social media, marketing, and communications leaders who will discuss insights, opportunities, and strategies that will positively impact our team.
  • Hands-on workshops will give me an opportunity to learn new tools and techniques and improve my skills right away,
  • Social media platforms and best practices are constantly changing. I feel it’s important to stay on top of what’s new, what’s possible, and what’s next.

By becoming a member of Social Media Day PHL, not only will I be able to attend the conference, but I’ll also get access to exclusive programs, workshops, and a community of social media, communications, and digital marketing professionals at every level. I’d be happy to share relevant information with other team members and departments from the conference and the other programs offered throughout the year.

I’d kindly appreciate your consideration. I couldn’t be more excited to attend the conference and join this community of professionals. I’m certain that it’s a good investment in training for me and our entire team.

Thank you for your time.

Yours truly [Employee’s Name]
